Two phase build-out for Golden State Foods offices and training space

CHICAGO – Chicago general contractor, Summit Design + Build, recently completed a two phase office build-out for food distributor, Golden State Foods. The two phases totaled approximately 10,000 square feet and finished the second floor of the company’s McCook, Ill. headquarters.

Phase 1 of the project included 3,000 square feet of work on a new training room, conference room and employee lounge and kitchen. Phase 2 of the project included the completion of open offices, 10 private offices, and an employee break room and collaboration area totaling 7,000 square feet.

“We had a great experience working with Golden State Foods,” said Brian Sundermann, Senior Project Manager, Summit Design + Build. “The new spaces are perfect for accommodating their growing team.”
